The Broadcasting Coordination Council will monitor 17 Moldovan broadcasters to see if they air the national products in Romania and at prime time. The Council’s head Dinu Ciocanu put forward such a proposal in a meeting on January 15, IPN reports.

Dinu Ciocan noted that there is a serious problem related to the broadcasting of the national products and there are few broadcasters that obey the legislation in this respect.

The Council decided that they will monitor the following channels: Prime, Canal 2, Canal 3, RTR Moldova, TV7, N4, CTC/Mega, TVC 21, Jurnal TV, Accent TV, Alt TV, Super TV, Acasa Moldova, Euro TV, Bravo, Ren Moldova, and Pro TV Chisinau. The monitoring at each channel will last for seven days.

Afterward, there will be analyzed the plurality of opinions in the informative programs. Dinu Ciocan said the situation in this field is not better.
