Public functionaries of the central public administration transferred 1.6 million lei representing their one-day salary to the account of the victims of the Soroca building blast. The Ministry of Local Public Administration will inform the victims about the amount accumulated in the account. Minister of Local Public Administration Valentin Guznac said recently that the victims’ most serious problem is the lack of housing. The persons that lost their apartments as a result of the explosion now live in the dormitory of the Arts College of Soroca town. Four civilians were killed in the blast on the apartment building located on 117 Stephan the Great Street in Soroca. A fire-fighter died during rescue works.
