Sixteen children, ages 4 to 18, including Roma children, have participated in filming an instructive short film titled “Know Your Rights”, Info-Prim Neo learned from a press release of the public organization INTECO. The film addresses articles of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child and the roles are played by the 16 children, who also participated actively in writing the script. The instructive film “Know Your Rights” will be used as an interactive teaching instrument at schools in the district of Cahul in a course on children's rights. The film was shot as part of the project “Improving education on children's rights of pupils in Cahul” initiated by INTECO. The project aims to test new methods of teaching children's rights in the Moldovan schools during classes conducted by classroom teachers. The project is implemented with the financial support of Sida and Soros-Moldova Foundation. INTECO is an organization founded to contribute to community development and strengthening of the civil society, develop social activism and the spirit of initiative in community members, and improve the living conditions of underprivileged persons.
