The Republic of Moldova will benefit from financial assistance amounting to 150 million euros from the European Union. The Government has approved the initiation of negotiations and the signing of the Loan Facility Agreement between the Republic of Moldova, the EU and the National Bank of Moldova, IPN reports.
The decision was taken in the context of the approval by the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union, on April 6, 2022, of the decision on granting additional macro-financial assistance to the Republic of Moldova.
The document provides for €150 million in financial assistance, of which €30 million in the form of a grant. The disbursement will take place in three installments.
Financial assistance will be available for two and a half years, starting from the first day after the entry into force of the agreement.
