15 students from Moldova will be granted the President’s Scholarship

10 students of the higher educational institutions and 5 students of the medium specialty institutions will be awarded the Presidential Scholarship of the Republic of Moldova for the 2006-2007 study year. According to the disposal published in the “Official Monitor of the Republic of Moldova” newspaper, the scholarships are granted as aid to students with special academic achievements and with great extracurricular experience from higher educational institutions and medium specialty institutions. The students from higher educational institutions that will be awarded the President’s Scholarship are Anatol Bondarev („Nicolae Testemiţeanu” State Medical and Pharmaceutical University), Vladislav Cojuhari („Ştefan cel Mare” Academy), Cornel Coser („Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu” University), Olga Gasca („Alecu Russo” Pedagogical University), Victoria Gorea (Technical university), Olga Manciu („I. Creanga” Pedagogical University), Oleg Mardari (Academy of Music, Theater and Arts) and Gheorghe Negura (ASEM). The beneficiaries of the presidential scholarship from medium specialty institutions are Tatiana Ciobanu (Light Industry College from Balti), Victora Gherman (Constructions College from Chisinau), Liubov Rudachevici (Medical College from), Natalia Sturza (Informatics College from Chisinau), Alexandru Surguci (National Viticulture and Wines College from Chisinau). According to data of the Ministry of Education and Youth, the students from higher educational institutions are granted a MDL 400 scholarship, and the students from medium specialty institutions get a scholarship of MDL 300. The Presidential scholarship is awarded since 2004.
