In the course of next week, another 15 persons who got cured of COVID-19 will donate plasma for infected persons who are in a very serious state, Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Viorica Dumbrăveanu was quoted by IPN as saying in a news conference.

According to the minister, a donation of plasma by a cured person can help three infected persons in a serious state. The treatment method is already implemented at two medical institutions in Chisinau that treat persons with COVID-19 in critical condition – the National Clinical Hospital and the Emergency Medicine Institute.

According to statistics of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, 20 persons who got cured of the novel coronavirus donated plasma so far.
