A 15-meter tricolor was raised above the State University of Moldova in connection with the National Flag Day that is celebrated on April 27. The event was staged by the public association “Honor, Dignity and Homeland”. This way the organizers rendered homage to the tricolor, IPN reports.

The association’s head Vlad Biletski said that by such a method they wanted to mark the National Flag Day in an extraordinary way. “This national value, the tricolor, will stay here throughout the day to show that it is the National Flag Day so that the people studying here have this feeling of patriotism and love for the nation and country,” he stated.

According to Vlad Biletski, such an event was held the second time. Later today, a tricolor’s march will be mounted in the center of Chisinau. This will set off from Europe Square. Within the event, there will be spread a 100-meter long flag. The marchers will stop on the pedestrian street, where they will sing patriotic songs and will recite poems about the tricolor.
