The first four healthcare centers of 15 to be renovated have been put in commission. The healthcare centers are renovated in a project implemented by the Health Ministry with the support of the World Bank, Info-Prim Neo learns from the Health Ministry. Healthcare Centers have been opened in Bulboaca village (Anenii Noi district), Leuseni (Telenesti), Recea (Rascani) and Baurci (Ceadar-Lunga). The center in Satu Nou (Cimislia) will be put in commission on July 28. The renovated healthcare centers have also been endowed with medical equipment bought through the TACIS project of the European Commission. The other 11 healthcare centers are planned to be put in commission till the end of 2009. At the same time, auctions are prepared to renovate other 12 centers in a second similar project. The project “Healthcare and Social Assistance Services” started in 2007 and pursues to support the government to enhance the access to qualitative healthcare services. 37 healthcare centers are to be renovated till 2011.
