144 employees to national public broadcaster to be fired
Under the institutional reform of the national public broadcaster Teleradio-Moldova (TRM), 144 employees will be laid off. The personnel policy was discussed in the last meeting of the company’s Supervisory Board, where the decision on layoffs was taken.
The Board’s chairman Eugeniu Rybka has told Info-Prim Neo that according to the structure schemes adopted in 2010, a number of subdivisions will be modified and there will be created new subdivisions. A part of the employees will be moved from one subdivision to another, while others will be made redundant.
Eugeniu Rybka also said that there may be reduced the creation, technical and auxiliary personnel.
On January 1, 2010 TRM had 997 employees, in 2011 – 957, while on January 1, 2012 – 888. “There will be 744 employees as a result of the reform,” said the chairman of the Supervisory Board.
