A girl aged 14 from Telița village of Anenii Noi district was rushed to the hospital with burns after she improperly connected the stove to a cylinder with propane-butane gas, IPN reports.
According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, the girl was at home alone and decided to cook, but the stove wasn’t connected to the gas cylinder. She tried to connect these but didn’t correctly insert the pipe and when she struck a match, the emitted gas ignited and the girl suffered minor hand burns.
She called out firefighters but the neighbors managed to put out the fire before these arrived. The minor was taken to the hospital for medical care and is now out of any danger.
