Fourteen persons died from COVID-19 in Moldova on June 20. The victims include a nurse aged 58 who worked at the National Narcology Dispensary. The woman was admitted to the Anenii Noi District Hospital in a serious state on June 18, IPN has learned from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.

As many as 397 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed today. Of those who contracted the virus, 27 are healthcare workers. A number of 2,019 tests were done today and 1,586 of them were primary tests.

Twenty-three of the 440 patients who are in the hospital in a serious state were put on a ventilator. 220 persons who got cured were discharged from the hospital today.

The infections with the novel coronavirus in Moldova now total 13,953, with 5,774 of these being active cases.
