1,333 kg of undeclared fabric stopped at Sculeni

A truck coming from London tried to enter Moldova with 109 undeclared rolls of fabric weighing 1,333 kilograms, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Customs Service.
The truck was checked at the Sculeni border crossing point. According to the transit customs statement, it was transporting material and accessories for clothes to a Floresti-based limited liability company. The forwarder was from London.
After examining the truck, it was established that 109 rolls of fabric were in surplus and had not been declared. The value of the contraband is yet to be determined.
The undeclared goods were seized in order to establish all the circumstances of this smuggling case.
