Thirteen persons were hurt in a traffic accident that happened on the Chisinau – Bender road, near Hagimus village of Causeni district, on March 15. The information was provided to IPN by Alina Bunghez, press officer of the National Patrolling Inspectorate.

The victims travelled in a bus running on the Tocuz – Bender route. This was powerfully struck by a truck.

“It happened when the driver of the truck fell asleep while driving. The vehicle went to the contraflow lane and violently hit the bus running on the Tocuz-Bender route. The persons who suffered serious injuries were rushed to the hospital,” stated Alina Bunghez.

Other circumstances of the accident are being established.
