The Moldovan branch of the Italian non-profit Organizzazione Umanitaria Roma INTERSOS has donated 13 state-of-the-art ultrasonography machines to public medical institutions.

According to the Ministry of Health, the devices incorporate various advanced imaging technologies, being intended to support medical diagnosis with great precision.

The total value of the donation is 127,611 euros.

INTERSOS Moldova has provided assistance to mitigate the Ukrainian refugee crisis, initially by getting involved in the activity of mobile clinics at the border, and later by supporting the integration of refugees into local communities.
