A number of 13 communities remained partially disconnected from the power supply as a result of the high winds and rain of last night. According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, these form part of the districts of Donduseni, Glodeni, Rascani, Drochia, Basarabeasca, and Cahul and of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia, IPN reports.

The torrential rain with high winds damaged the roof of a house in Tantareni village of Anenii Noi district. The local commission for emergencies is to determine the caused damage.

Following the very high temperatures, the administration of the Emergencies Service set up rehabilitation points again.
