As many as 127 villages in 13 districts weren’t supplied with electrical power in the morning of January 21. Most of the settlements are from the districts of Anenii Noi, Cimislia, Criuleni and Causeni, press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service Diana Turcan said, quoted by IPN.

In Chisinau, 148 trees were downed by hoar frost. The Green Areas Association chief Eliferii Haruta said that 15 vehicles were damaged by broken trees and branches. Fifty persons worked to remove the fallen trees until 2am.

At 8am, the night shift was changed by 270 workers who continue the activities.
