More than 350 Moldovan citizens returned to Moldova from Israel by regular Tel-Aviv – Chisinau flights during October 16-17. In the period, 162 citizens of the Republic of Moldova left for Israel. In total, 1,204 Moldovans returned home from Israel, while 415 Moldovans travelled to Tel-Aviv by regular flights as from October 7. The updated information was presented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, IPN reports.
The authorities continue holding negotiations with the international partners so as to evacuate Moldovans from the Gaza Strip. Together with the opening of an evacuation corridor, the consular functionary detached to Egypt will be ready to issue the necessary documents and to facilitate the Moldovans’ travel, runs the Ministry’s press release.
