As many as 120 more beds for patients in a serious state confirmed with COVID-19 will be made available at the National Clinical Hospital “Timofei Moșneaga” as of September 3. Another category of patients who will be hospitalized on activated beds will be those with moderate and severe forms of the disease referred from the triage center COVID – 19, IPN reports, with reference to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.

“The patients in a serious state who show signs of improvement will be transferred from the intensive care section to the section that will be activated and will follow treatment prescribed by doctors there,” Minister of Health Viorica Dumbrăveanu stated in the meeting of the National Focal Point this morning.

National Public Health Agency director Nicolae Furtună said that most of the education institutions started the education process by ensuring minimum conditions for the prophylaxis and control of COVID-19.

The minister requested that the Agency should be permanently in touch with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research and the managers of education institutions so as to offer the necessary assistance in taking preventive anti-epidemic measures.
