A teenage boy aged 12 from Nisporeni district is suspected of murdering a man of nearly 60. The suspect and the victim were allegedly on hostile terms.

Nisporeni Police Inspectorate press officer Cristina Vicol has told IPN that on May 6, close to midnight, a man discovered the body on the street and called the Nisporeni Police Inspectorate. The victim had been beaten as there were signs of beating on the body, especially on the head.

Legal action was taken over deliberate murder. As the suspect is younger than 14, he cannot be held criminally accountable.
