A 12-year-old girl who went missing almost a month ago was found dead in a wood situated between the villages Chițcani and Merenești of Căușeni district.
According to the Transnistrian police bodies that are investigating this case, a number of medical-legal examinations were ordered, IPN reports.
The local press reported that the girl left home on February 17 and went to the Monastery in Chițcani. When she left the Monastery, she went in an unknown direction.
The Transnistrian police do not specify if the girl had signs of violent death on the body.
