12 personalities awarded at 2021 Culture Awards Gala

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Research on January 15 conferred 12 prizes at the 2021 Culture Awards Gala held on the occasion of the National Day of Culture. The laureates were offered the Trophy, the diploma of honor of the Ministry and a money award to the value of 20,000 lei, IPN reports, quoting the Ministry of Education.

The “Valeriu Cupcea” Award in Theatrical Art went to Diana Decuseară-Onică, actress of “Mihai Eminescu” Theater. The “Constantin Stere” Award in literature was handed over to Arcadie Suceveanu, president of the Writers Union of Moldova. The Academic Choral Choir “Doina” won the “Gavriil Muzicescu” Award in Music.

The “Vladimir Curbet” Award in Dancing went to Constantin Șeremet, master-choreographer of the Folk Dances Ensemble “Second Youth”. Aurelia Kornetski, a museographer of the National Museum of History of Moldova, got the “Ştefan Ciobanu” Award in the Conservation of Cultural Heritage and Museography. Ethnic musicologist Svetlana Badrajan was conferred the “Isidor Burdin” Award in Intangible Heritage.

Tudor Zbârnea, director general of the National Museum of Arts, received the “Mihai Grecu” Award in Plastic Arts, while scriptwriter and film director Vlad Druc was handed over the “Emil Loteanu” Award in Cinematography. The award for the best manager of an institution of culture of the local level was conferred on Ion Tulbu, head of the Culture and Tourism Division of Hâncești.
