Doctors have confirmed the eleventh case of infection with the A(H1N1) virus in Moldova. The patient is a 21-year-old man from Dubasari, who returned recently from Bulgaria, Info-Prim Neo learned from the Health Ministry. Initially the man was admitted to the Dubasari District Hospital and then transferred to the hospital for infectious diseases “Toma Ciorba” in Chisinau. On his admission the man had fever, ague and muscular pain. Eighty-five cases of infections suspected to be swine flu have been examined so far at national laboratories; eleven tested positive.
