112 service increases number of operators

The common national emergency phone service 112 will increase the number of employees from 82 to 119 given the rise in the number of received calls, IPN reports.

Currently, the 112 service records daily over 13,000 calls on average, as opposed to 7,300 calls earlier. Therefore, the number of operators in a shift will be raised from 15 to 27.

It is considered the opportunity of including a psychologist in the staff for assessing psychological aspects in the activity of the future employees.
