An 11-year-old boy from Limbenii Vechi village, Glodeni district, died after the car driven by his older brother, 20, rolled over. The fatal accident occurred on July 10 at approx. 12:00, in the vicinity of Donu village. The older brother, who had no driving license, took his younger brother for a ride in their father’s Audi car. Driving at high speed, the young man lost control of the vehicle, ran into a tree and rolled over. The 11-year-old, a 5-grader, died on the scene, while his older brother was severely injured. The Glodeni police are handling the case. On Tuesday alone, 8 traffic accidents occurred on the roadways in Moldova, resulted in one casualty and 3 injured persons. According to the statistics of the Interiors Ministry, in the first quarter of this year, there were registered 1120 road accidents, killing 188 and injuring 1387.
