An 11-month-old girl has been recently repatriated from the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, which forms part of the Russian Federation. The girl was abandoned at birth by the single mother, who is a Moldovan national, but has worked in Russia for about three years, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In Moldova, the girl will be reintegrated into the family of the grandparents, who agreed to raise her, the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family says in a communique.
Twenty-nine children have been repatriated this year – 7 from Ukraine, 18 from Russia, three from Romania and one from Sweden.
