Eleven lots of land situated in the built-up area of Chisinau municipality, out of the 16 exhibited, were sold at Friday’s land auction. As a result of the auction, over 133 million lei is to be transferred to the municipal budget, IPN reports.

The Chisinau City Hall said that the most expensive lot, with an area of 0.75 ha, was sold at the price of 95 million lei. The initial price was 50 million lei. A residential complex is to be erected on that lot, area C2-R6, on National Renaissance Boulevard.

The remaining unsolicited lots will be put up for sale at subsequent auctions.

The Chisinau City Hall organizes auctions to sell lots of land and uninhabitable spaces, exclusively through public tender procedures.
