10% of the 1,069 employees of the Customs Service, whose knowledge has been tested starting with June 13, are not suitable for the job held and are to be dismissed. Such a decision was taken by the certification commission on September 8, IPN reports.
The testing results per system showed some of the employees have insufficient grounding. They superficially know the customs legislation and specific working procedures, while their professional skills are at a low level. The employees with high qualifications will be yet advanced.
“The optimization of the work of the customs system can be obtained only by increasing the professional capacities of employees and by promoting integrity among them,” said the director general of the Customs Service Vitalie Vrabie, when commenting on the testing results.
