Eight singers and bands went through to the national Eurovision final as a result of the February 24 semifinal. Moldova’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Kiev will be chosen in the evening of February 25. The performance will be broadcast live by the public TV channel Moldova 1 starting at 7:45pm, IPN reports.
The finalists are: SunStroke Project with the song “Hey Mamma”; Ethno Republic & Surorile Osoianu with “Discover Moldova”; Diana Brescan with “Breath”; Aurel Chirtoaca with “Longing for mother”; Marks & Stefanet with “Join us in the rain”; Samir Loghin with “Glow”; Valeria Pasa with “Freedom”, and Vozniuc feat. Vio Grecu with “Don’t lie”.
The national Eurovision 2017 final could be also followed live on Radio Moldova, Radio Moldova Muzical, Radio Moldova Tineret and online on the portal trm.md.
Moldova’s representative will compete in the first Eurovision semifinal on May 9, alongside contenders from Montenegro, Finland, Georgia, Portugal, Belgium, Sweden, Albania, Azerbaijan, Australia, Cyprus and other states.
