The public sector employees will return to work and the state institutions will work as usual as from April 27. Also, some of the restrictions imposed on the hospitality industry will be lifted, IPN reports, quoting President Igor Dodon.

In the program “President Responds”, Igor Dodon said the restrictions will be lifted in stages. If the positive dynamics in the infection with COVID-19 persist by the end of this week, a part of the restrictions on economic activities could be removed on April 27 and the employees of these enterprises could return to work. The children’s clothing shops will be reopened at the end of next week.

After May 15, when the state of emergency is to be lifted, the schools and kindergartens will be reopened. Igor Dodon said he will order to reactivate the platforms for the enrolment of children in the first grade

The restrictions for foreigners who want to enter Moldova will also be eased in the second half of May. The ban on holding large-scale events, such as wedding parties and baptizing ceremonies, will be extended for several months after the crisis is overcome.

There are now no restrictions on the spring agricultural works.

The state of emergency in Moldova was declared for 60 days, until May 15.
