The polling stations in Tokyo, Japan, and Beijing, People's Republic of China, have closed. A total of 84 and 43 voters, respectively, exercised their right to vote at these two stations, reports IPN.
The Central Electoral Commission notes that as of 4:00 PM Moldovan time, all polling stations on the eastern coast of the United States have opened without any issues.
As of 4:00 PM, more than 200,000 voters abroad have cast their ballots.
Citizens in the diaspora are encouraged to vote at the nearest polling station where more ballots are available. Information on overseas polling stations can be found on the diaspora.cec.md application.
