Zinaida Greceanii to take part in Summit of CIS Heads of Government

A delegation of the Government of Moldova headed by outgoing Prime Minister Zinaida Greceanii left today for the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana, to take part in the Summit of CIS Heads of Government, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the executive’s press service. On Friday, the participants will have a meeting with the Kazakh president Nursultan Nazarbayev and then will hold a meeting in extended format. At the end of the summit, Zinaida Greceanii will hold a news conference as president of the constitutive bodies of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The meeting will center on the plan of action for implementing the first stage of the CIS Economic Development Strategy until 2020, the agreement on information exchange in crime combating and cooperation in investigating air accidents involving aircraft of the CIS member states. The agenda of the summit also includes the joint plan of action for working out a common system for tracking citizens from third countries or stateless persons that enter CIS, and the plan of action for cooperation in the humanitarian sphere for 2009 – 2010.
