Zimbru drew 2-2 with Petrocub in the most important match of the seventh stage of the National Football Division, IPN reports.
The “yellow-greens” opened the score in the 24th minute, through Yameogo. Petrocub took the lead after the break owing to the goals scored by Vladislav Ivanov, from a penalty kick, and by Artiom Puntus.
In the 93rd minute, Victor Golovatenkp set the final scoreline as a result of a corner. “We draw where we were to win and lost where we were to draw,” Petrocub coach Lilian Popescu told a news conference.
The other matches of the seventh stage ended as follows: Dinamo-Auto – Milsami 0-2, Zaria – Sheriff 0-1, Speranta – Sfantul Gheorghe 1-1. In the rankings, Sheriff has 19 points, by six more than Milsami.
