An information campaign entitled "Zero difference, 100% transparency" was launched. The initiative aims to reduce the gender pay gap and is part of the efforts to support the Gender Equality Acceleration Program in the Republic of Moldova for 2023-2026, promoted by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, IPN reports.
The campaign is implemented by the Partnership for Development Center, in cooperation with UN Women Moldova, with the financial support of Sweden and the Swiss Cooperation Office. It will take place online until February 27, when the Equal Pay Day in the Republic of Moldova is marked.
According to calculations for the previous year, women have to work by 58 days more in order to earn an amount equivalent to that obtained by men.
