Boxers Alexei Zavatin and Dumitru Galogot mounted the winner’s rostrum at the international tournament Golden Gloves that took place in Belgrade, Serbia, IPN reports.
In the semifinals, Zavatin eliminated a representative of Seychelles, but a small injury prevented him from fighting in the final of the plus 91 kg class against a representative of the hosts. Galagot (64 kg) lost to a Serbian boxer in the semifinals and won thus bronze.
The competition also involved Victor Carapcevski (75 kg), who was eliminated in the quarterfinals.
