Zalina Petrivskaya has qualified for the women’s hammer throw final at the European Athletics Championships taking place in Berlin, IPN reports.
She threw her hammer 69.17 meters to qualify for the final on the 8th place. The women’s hammer throw final, slated for Sunday evening, will see 12 competitors. Zalina Petrivskaya, nee Marghieva, is a three times Olympian.
Her sister, Marina Nikishenko, failed to qualify for the final, with a best of just 64.37 meters.
