Young Moldovan researchers to receive 10 excellence scholarships

In the 2007/2008 school year, young researchers in Moldova will benefit from 10 excellence scholarships granted by the World Federation of Scientists (WFS), Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Association of Young Researchers of Moldova (ATCM), scholarships are granted for 15 priority fields of WFS activity, including study of water, soil, energy, research in medicine and alimentation etc. The monthly value of a scholarship is about CHF 150 (about USD 121). The Competition is destined to those who study for a doctor’s degree in 2nd and 3rd year, within institutions specialised in scientific research. The contest started on February 20. ATCM started its activity as an initiative group in 2000, aiming to constitute and maintain an open forum of young people and scientists.
