A young man, 21, died as a result of a traffic accident in Buzdugeni village, Edinet district. The young man was traveling in a car as a passenger with four other friends, including two minors.
According to the Edinet Police Inspectorate, the accident occurred at about 03.00 a.m. The driver, a young man aged 24, lost control at the turn and hit the fence of a house, after which the car flew into a tree and capsized.
It is not yet known if the driver was under the influence and how fast he was going.
Edinet District Hospital director Anatolie Gutu told IPN one of the admitted patients is in critical condition in the intensive care unit, two others, including a young woman, are treated in the traumatology department, and a fourth didn't require hospitalization.
