The body of a 31-year-old man with signs of a violent death was found in Frumoasa village of Călărași district. Two suspects were placed under arrest for 72 hours, IPN reports.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, a suspect aged 31 was arrested in less than four hours of the commission of the offense, while the second man aged 36, who was hiding from the police, was caught in about ten hours. The latter was earlier sentenced for a similar offense.
Locals said the men had a quarrel after a drinking bout. People from the village started to raise funds to help the family of the young man with the burial as this had low incomes.
A criminal case was started over murder. The men face a maximum jail term of 15 years.
