A 20 year old man was hit by a train. The accident happened on Sunday morning near the capital, in the locality of Vatra.
"From preliminary information from the scene, it was found that the young man was sitting on the tracks, as a result of which he was hit by a train. As a result of the traumas he suffered, the young man died on the spot", Cristina Talpa, press officer at the Chisinau Municipal Police Directorate, IPN reports.
Police are investigating the case to establish all the circumstances.
