A man aged 22 was taken out of a ventilation shaft of an apartment building located on Traian Blvd in Chisinau’s Botanica district. The call to the 901 Service was made at 8:17am this morning. When on the spot, the rescuers established that the man was trapped on the 17th floor.
Press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service Liliana Puscasu said the man could not explain how he got in the ventilation shaft. He was freed in about 30 minutes and suffered no injuries.
The head of the press service of the Chisinau Police Division Adrian Jovmir said the young man tried to clean the ventilation shaft up and got stuck.
