Wrestler Andrei Prepeliță will contend in the match for the bronze medal at the Minsk European Games, IPN reports.
In the quarterfinals, he lost to Vladimir Khinchegashvili, but the Georgian wrestler reached the final and this enabled Prepeliță to struggle for bronze in the 65 kg class. His opponent in the game scheduled for the evening of June 27 is Russia’s Akhmed Chakaev.
Iulia Leorda, who contends in the 53 kg class, will compete in the playoffs on June 27. Emilia Cîrîcu (50 kg) and Anastasia Nikita (57 kg) also enter the competition today.
