A Chisinau worker, 62, was hospitalized for unspecified injuries after an explosive went off when he tried to discard waste in a public container on Albișoara Street.
Arriving at the scene, ordnance specialists found remains of what appeared to be an airsoft grenade, a source within the Chisinau police told IPN.
A criminal investigation has been started.
