The official website of the "Renaștere" Party, associated with pro-Russian oligarch Ilan Șor, was targeted by hackers. They allegedly published a false message stating that the party was distancing itself from Șor and leaving the electoral bloc "Pobeda," created in Moscow. Party representatives quickly denied the information and stated that the site had been compromised, emphasizing that the party's position remains unchanged, according to IPN.

In the same message, anonymous authors claimed that the "Renaștere" Party no longer shares Șor's political views. The party leadership, which holds anti-European views, characterized this action as an attempt to mislead public opinion ahead of the elections.

The "Renaștere" Party is part of the "Pobeda" Bloc. In September, the Central Electoral Commission registered the application submitted by "Renaștere" for participation in the constitutional referendum scheduled for October 20, 2024, with the option "NO."
