The futsal team of Moldova wasn’t a serious opponent for the similar team of Romania. The first friendly played in Galati ended by a 1-6 defeat for the pupils of Vladimir Vusatyi, IPN reports.

Romania led by 6-0 after goals were scored by Stoica (9th and 27th minutes), Mania (10th), Matei (15th), Ruxandari (16th) and Alioani (21st). The goal of honor for Moldova was scored by Cristian Obada when Romania played without a goalkeeper.

Thus, the team trained by Nelu Stancea took revenge on Moldova for the 3-4 defeat suffered last October in Chisinau.

For Romania, the February 26 match was the first after the games played within the European Championship, where it went through to the quarterfinals. The two teams will meet on Thursday in Galati for the second friendly.
