Persons who will not be in the locality where they have their domicile or valid residence on the day of the presidential election can request a certificate that gives them the right to vote in any other polling station in the country, on the supplementary electoral register.
The Central Election Commission said the right to vote certificate can be obtained at the electoral bureau of the polling station where the person is to vote according to the domicile or valid residence, IPN reports.
Requests can be made until October 19 inclusive. In order to take possession of the certificate, voters must present the identity document attesting the domicile or residence within the radius of the respective polling station.
The presidential election in the Republic of Moldova will take place on October 20. On the same day, voters are invited to participate in the national constitutional referendum on joining the European Union.
