Citizens with the right to vote can request information about the organization of the national constitutional referendum and the presidential election of October 20 at a Call Center that was launched on Tuesday by the Central Election Commission. The operators will provide information and assistance in electoral matters to all those who will contact them on (+373) 22 880101, IPN reports.

They will also offer the necessary assistance to the persons responsible for managing the voter lists within the local public authorities, but also to the members of the lower electoral bodies for the uniform application of the procedures for managing and updating the State Register of Voters.

Likewise, voters will be able to find out data on the voting procedure, the documents based on which they can vote, the assigning to polling stations, where and how they can declare their place of residence, how they can obtain the certificate with the right to vote, etc.

The CEC warns that, through the Call Center, no appeals can be submitted.

The Call Center’s information line will operate from Monday through Friday, between 08:00 a.m. and 05:00 p.m. During October 19-21 and November 2-4 (in the case of a runoff vote) the working hours will be extended to 24 hours a day.

The center can be called at an ordinary charge through the landline or mobile phone from any locality of the Republic of Moldova.
