About 304,000 voters or 10.7% of the electorate cast their ballots by 10am in the presidential runoff, as opposed to 7.35% at the same hour in their first round of voting, IPN reports.
The men are today more active than the women, with the ratio being 50.36%:49.64%.
Some 42.94% of the voters who marked their ballots are aged between 56 and 70, 24.73% are aged between 41 and 55, 15.83% are aged between 26 and 40, 11.86% are 71 and older, 4.65% are aged between 18 and 25.
Polling stations in Moldova are open between 7am and 9pm. In the runoff vote, the elections are declared valid regardless of the voter turnout.
