Mihaela Chisnencu from Chisinau, who was called the red-haired girl at the song contest “Vocea Romaniei” (“Voice of Romania”), recently launched her first song entitled “I Don’t”. The music and lyrics were written by Mihaela and the song was arranged by Mihai Diaconu, a talented young man from Iasi, who is a last-year student at the Conservatoire of Bucharest. The mixing and mastering were handled by composer and arranger Vitalie Rusu from Chisinau, IPN reports.

“It is my first musical experience and I’m proud of it. “I Don’t” is a rock song in English and, even if it is a new style for me, I like very much the end result and I hope the public will also like it,” stated Mihaela Chisnencu.

Mihaela is a fourth-year student at the National University of Music of Bucharest, the Faculty of Jazz and Music Creation. She won multiple awards at different national and international contests. Nine years ago, she settled with her family in Bucharest. A year ago, she competed in the contest “Vocea Romaniei” as part of Smiley’s team.

Mihaela Chisnencu said that even if she is busy studying, she continues to compose and to sing. “I work on another two songs now, one of which is in the Romanian language. These songs are closer to my style, pop, and I hope I will launch at least one of these by summer,” she stated for IPN.
