Vladislav Arventi named Chisinau’s best athlete

Vladislav Arventi became Chisinau’s best athlete in 2010. The 17 year old received the accolade as he had won the bronze medal at the European Taekwondo Championship in seniors’ Olympic version. He participated for the first time in the Youth and Junior Olympics this year, Info-Prim Neo reports. Athletes Ion Luchianov and Zalina Marghiev complete the top 3. The list was published by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Artiom Pipa (weightlifting), Iulia Latus (taekwondo), Vlad Nemerenco (unifight), Ion Soltoianu (kickboxing), Petru Sevciuc (greco-roman wrestling), Gheorghe Cernei (weightlifting), Anatol Poiag (sambo) also make the top 10 sportsmen of Chisinau. Vladislav Arventi was third in the overall ranking of Moldovan athletes in 2010.
