Vlad Filat named Person of the Year

The Person of the Year prize is awarded yearly for remarkable accomplishments that have a significant influence in Central and Eastern Europe. Among the holders of this title are President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barosso, Pope John Paul II, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, former President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko, President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili, and other personalities.
